KANSAS CITY, Mo. — People around the metro spent Saturday morning protesting at several area Planned Parenthood offices.

The protesters were part of a nationwide protest called “#ProtestPP.”

In August, the first protest brought together more than 78,000 people across the United States and around the globe.

Scott Gordon is the pastor at Claycomo Baptist Church. He was at the last rally and hopes Saturday’s event keeps the topic alive in people’s minds.

“This allows us to keep the issue before our community and be an advocacy group in that respect,” said Gordon.

WDAF reached out to a local chapter of Planned Parenthood but they declined to comment at this time.
