LEAWOOD, Kan. — Police arrested the suspect they believe is connected to the armed robbery of a McDonald’s in Leawood, Kan.
Otis Powell-Ramey, 24, is scheduled to appear in court Friday afternoon. Powell-Ramey faces charges of aggravated robbery and two counts of kidnapping.
Powell-Ramey allegedly entered the McDonald’s just after 1 a.m. and forced two employees into a freezer. The suspect then took an undetermined amount of money and left the restaurant.
Powell-Ramey was arrested Thursday around 1 p.m. by Leawood police.
