Police Searching for Suspect in Stun Gun Robbery

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Police are searching for a suspect who used a stun gun to rob a store in south Kansas City.

According to Kansas City Missouri Police, the female suspect walked into the Family Dollar store in the 1200 block of E. Meyer Boulevard around 8:42 p.m. on Tuesday, selected an item and went to the front counter to pay. Police say that the suspet gave the employee money for her purchase, but when the employee opened the cash drawer the suspect pulled a stun gun from her purse and shocked the employee.

The suspect then grabbed an undisclosed amount of cash from the drawer and fled on foot.

Police say that the suspect is described as a black female in her 20’s, 5’5″, 150 to 160 pounds, wearing a dark color cap, black sleeveless top, blue jeans, white shoes, and carrying a giraffe spotted purse.
