INDEPENDENCE, Mo. — Police in Independence, Mo., are looking for a man suspected of robbing the Bank of America, located on E. 24 Hwy in Independence, Mo.

Police said an armed man, carrying a black pistol, entered the bank around 9 a.m. on Monday and demanded money from three tellers. Police said the man put the money in a black bag and left, heading north.

Police described the suspect as a white male in his sixties with a medium build, wearing a Khaki baseball hat and sunglasses. He also wore a piece of gray material over the bottom half of his face.

Police are asking anyone with information to contact the FBI or the Independence Police Department.
