Poor road conditions from blizzard force some districts to cancel school Tuesday

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Several school districts across the metro, especially those in more rural areas, have canceled classes for Tuesday due to Sunday’s snowfall and resulting road conditions.

KCMO Public Schools and several other districts canceled school. KCK Public Schools will have a 2-hour delayed start. Park University says classes will begin and offices will open at all four campuses (Parkville, Downtown Kansas City, Independence and Lenexa) at 10 a.m. on Tuesday.
