GRANDVIEW, Mo. -- Family members hope police are close to arresting the violent men who broke into a home on Sunday and raped a woman and tortured three men with hot grease.

The Ad Hoc Group Against Crime gathered Friday night to pray for the family. All survived but are still recovering from their wounds.

"Put your hedge of protection around them so that no other hurt, harm or danger might encamp," said one man with the Ad Hoc Group.

If you have any information, call the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-TIPS.

"Just turn them in cause this could be in your family. You never think this is going to happen to you and this is like a movie. You don't expect this to happen," said Pamela Sims, a relative of the victims.

Police said one of the cars the intruders stole to get away was recovered in Kansas City, but had not yet made any arrests on Friday night.
