RAYTOWN, Mo. — A husband and wife were shaken up when three armed men burst into their home and began robbing them in Raytown.

Around 11 p.m. Saturday, a woman was at home in the 8000 block of Manning Avenue when she heard voices in the living room.

Thinking maybe the TV was up too loud, she entered her living room and found two men pointing guns at her husband, demanding guns and money.

As another man came down the stairs, she said she ran out the back door, through the back yard to a neighbor’s house to call 911.

She said the men took her purse and her husband’s pain medication and fled the scene.

Police did not give a vehicle description, but described the suspects as three black males.

The husband and wife were quite shaken up, but fortunately, no one was injured in the incident.

The couple said the incident was a random targeting of them and their home, which they’ve lived in for more than 30 years.

Police are still investigating.
