KANSAS CITY, Kan. — A suspect wanted for questioning in regard to an early morning armed robbery of a pedestrian is now wanted for ramming a Kansas City, Kan., police cruiser.
Officers said they were investigating an armed street robbery Friday morning when they spotted the suspect vehicle near 65th and Tauromee. They approached the vehicle and the two officers began speaking with the driver. When they asked the driver to step out of the vehicle, police said he ‘intentionally’ backed into the police cruiser in order to escape. The officers were not injured.
Police continue to search for the vehicle, described as a silver 2007 Maxima.
