KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Kansas City Roller Warriors have plenty of enthusiasm and spunky monikers, but they don’t have a place to practice.

An electrical fire damaged their new rink at 7916 Troost in Kansas City, Mo., a few months ago leaving them without a place to play. The team is trying to raise money to get the rink fixed so players can flex their muscles on the track.

Christy Ubelaker known as “Jamalamadingdong” says the team has raised $1,000 so far, but it needs $32,000. Erin Thomas a.k.a. “Bella Fire” says people can donate by online at gofundme.com/2cyu20. The league is comprised of about 80 member/owners and includes four teams. The regular home season runs from March through September.
