LEE’S SUMMIT, Mo. — Republican presidential candidate Rick Santorum has planned a campaign rally Friday evening at John Knox Village.

The event starts at 7:00 p.m. at the retirement village at 400 Northwest Murray Rd.

On Thursday, Santorum stopped in Nevada and took jabs at Romney’s health care overhaul in Massachusetts and Gingrich’s shifting policy positions.

Candidates are gearing up for the caucuses in Nevada, Colorado, Minnesota, and a seven-day caucus in Maine while Arizona, Missouri, and Michigan are holding primaries.

Santorum came in third behind Mitt Romney and Newt Gingrich in the Florida primary.

Former U.S. Senator Rick Santorum of Pennsylvania was elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in 1990 at the age of 32, and from 1995 to 2007, served in the US Senate.
