Semi loses load of bacon on I-70

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- A semi-truck lost its load of bacon on I-70 near Little Blue Parkway Monday night around 8:15. Even into Tuesday morning, crews were still trying to clear the area.

The crash happened after the semi drifted off the right side of the road, struck a sign and overturned in a ditch. Two people suffered minor injuries. They have been identified as Ashley Gillispie, 28, and Jason Gillispie, 30.

Traffic Tuesday morning was slow-moving on I-70 as crews remained on the scene.
