OVERLAND PARK, Kan. — Students at Shawnee Mission West gathered in the gymnasium to show support for a teen who recently died in a car accident.
The students wore purple and white and posed for a photo in remembrance of 16-year-old Blake Rohrer Friday.
Rohrer was fatally injured in a car crash at 175th and Switzer Wednesday afternoon.
Rohrer was a student at Blue Valley Northwest high school.
According to a letter from the school, Rohrer was an active member in school activities such as choir.
