KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Two people have reportedly been shot in an area near 39th Street and Bellefontaine on Monday night. FOX 4’s Robert Townsend reports that the victims are a 10-month-old girl and her 21-year-old father. The father is reportedly in stable condition but the infant remains in critical condition.

The incident reportedly happened shortly before 9 p.m. when the man was getting out of his vehicle at his home. Police are looking are looking for a grey Ford car in connection with the crime.

Police are also reportedly investigating multiple scenes where shell casings have been found and this shooting may be a drive-by shooting. Neighbors said they heard several shots when the incident happened.
