Shooting victim crashes into KCMO home

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A shooting victim ended up driving into a Kansas City home early Thursday morning.

Police say around 3:40 a.m., a man driving a white car was shot in the chest and leg near Scarritt and White.

According to police,  he sped off down Scarritt and ended up crashing into the side of the house at Oakley, which is about four blocks away.

He was unresponsive and sent to the hospital in critical condition.

Police say they are still working to obtain a suspect description.
