A Silver Alert was issued for Lawrence Lawyer, 72, by the Lee’s Summit Police Department on January 20.

LEE’S SUMMIT, Mo. — A Silver Alert for Lawrence Lawyer, 72, was cancelled by Lee’s Summit police after he was found in southern Missouri at about 1 a.m. on Wednesday. He’s been reunited with his family; he went missing at about 1 p.m. on Tuesday.

Information supplied by the police department and Missouri Highway Patrol stated that Lawyer, who suffers from Alzheimer’s and a heart condition, became upset with his family and said he wanted to move back to Florida, where police believed he was driving.
