KANSAS CITY, Mo. — There’s good news Thursday for travelers who often fly between Kansas City International Airport (MCI) and San Antonio International Airport.

Southwest Airlines announced the company will soon offer one daily nonstop flight.

The service will begin November 6, 2016.

San Antonio is the largest destination from Kansas City without nonstop air service. On the same day the carrier will also add a nonstop flight to Phoenix, for a total of four per day.
