Strong winds take out trees, power lines, and bring damage

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The high winds have caused damage and threatened the safety of some throughout the metro. In Parkville, a large grass fire was reported in the 5700 block of Meadow Lake. South Platte Fire and Kansas City Fire were called to the scene. FOX 4 was told the fire could threaten houses and people may have to be evacuated. Thankfully, by the time the FOX 4 crew arrived, firefighters had put out the fire.
