KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Kansas City police are in a standoff with an armed male suspect near 20th and Kansas.

The call came in as an armed disturbance. A male threatened a victim with a gun he initially refused to come out. .

The standoff was eventually resolved and the male came out without further incident.

The investigation is ongoing regarding a domestic violence assault.
