LOS ANGELES (KTLA) -- In the past, CD and book clubs kept a steady stream of new entertainment delivered to our doors. These days, companies are bringing back the subscription membership clubs with all kinds of products.

From baby clothes to fashionable accessories, the latest online trend is companies delivering unique products right to your door every month. There's no catch, just convenience. Move over Jelly of the Month! These days, the hottest startups are putting shopping on autopilot.

Entrepreneur and new dad Sean Percival started Wittlebee.

He says, "You sign up and then for $39.99 a month you get a box of kids clothes every month. As your kids get older the size changes, as the seasons change so do the clothes."

Wittlebee is a monthly kids clothing club that delivers style for your child.

"You tell me is your kid preppy or sporty or a diva? And we have a box that aligns those personalities. You also have a style consultation with our mom stylist," explains Percival.

The clothes inside are about a hundred dollars value.

"These are Tea Collection, Paul Frank. You know, brands you know and love," says Percival.

For the fashionista or fashion challenged, check out Little Black Bag.

The company's Head of Marketing, Chathri Ali, says it's as simple as "Shop, Swap, and Ship."

Tell the site your style and it'll recommend products you'll love. You can even trade with other members until you get a box that's just right.

"There's 125 brands on site," explains Chathri, "Everything from Steve Madden, Cargo Cosmetics, Betsy Johnson, BCB Generation. So there's tons to choose from. At any given time there's over 600 items."

Plus, save up to 70 percent off retail.

Next, there's Total Beauty Collection. The company offers something a little different from the average subscription club.

"What's really exciting actually about Total Beauty Collection is it's not a subscription program," explains Mandy Hjellming.

A monthly email lets you know what samples are in the box. Buy to try only if you're interested. If you like something, get the full size version at a discount.

"So you can try new products and have fun with beauty without having to put a lot of money into it," says Hjellming.
