Driver crosses center line on K-32; Crash kills him and 2 women, injures 2 children

EDWARDSVILLE, Kan. -- The Kansas Highway Patrol reports that three people died and two children are hurt following a crash on K-32 (Kaw Drive) between 98th Street and 102nd Thursday night.

The three who died were identified overnight as:

Aaron Ashlock, 42, of Kansas City, Kan.

Sarah Galutia, 29, of Overland Park, Kan.

Ashley Gonzalez, 33,  of Shawnee, Kan.

Aaron Ashlock was driving the 2002 Kia. The highway patrol did not indicate if he was wearing his seatbelt.

Sarah Galutia and Ashely Gonzalez were not wearing seatbelts in their 2009 Mazda. A 12-year-old girl and 11-year-old girl were also in their vehicle and were injured. They were wearing seatbelts.

The crash report says Aaron Ashlock was driving westbound on K-32 and Sarah Galutia was driving eastbound. Ashlock's car crossed the center median and struck Galutia's car head-on.
