KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Beauty brand Conair says that it's developed a new product that will give you the beautiful, shiny curls you've always wanted—but does it actually work?

It's called "Curl Secret," and FOX 4 took it to Silver Screen Salon in the Crossroads to put it to the test. Salon owner Travis Crall says that he's had a number of clients ask about Curl Secret, but has never actually tried it himself.

"I'm excited to play with it today and see what it's all about," said Crall, who has over a decade of professional experience under his belt.

So, will Curl Secret give you locks you'll love, or should you just stick to your old, trusty curling iron?

FOX 4's Kerri Stowell finds out in this week's Try It Before You Buy It.
