Two KCPL branches reopen after positive COVID-19 case last week


KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Two Kansas City Public Library branches are reopening Wednesday after a staff member tested positive for COVID-19.

The Sugar Creek and Trails West branches are back to regular hours on Wednesday after being closed since Sunday, allowing for contact tracing, cleaning, disinfecting and staffing issues to be resolved.

The staff member that tested positive last work August 9.
