KANSAS CITY, Kan. -- Suspects targeted a KCK bank in a robbery on Saturday that led to a police pursuit that ended in a crash.

Authorities said the UMB Bank at 8300 Parallel Parkway was robbed around 9:15 a.m. Saturday. Police said two suspects, described as a black male and a Hispanic male, entered the bank and demanded cash. One of the suspects was reportedly brandishing a weapon.

After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, the suspects then fled to a waiting vehicle, described as a white Yukon, driven by a third suspect.

The vehicle was spotted traveling east on Leavenworth Road and briefly pursued by KCK police when it was involved in an accident near the intersection with 51st Street.

The suspects attempted to flee the scene on foot, but were taken into police custody. Two of the three suspects were taken to a hospital for medical attention.

Police have not identified the suspects.
