Video: Robbers Clean Out Jewelry Store

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. — Overland Park Police Detectives are seeking assistance in identifying the suspects of a jewelry store burglary. The burglary occurred in the 11600 block of Metcalf Ave, on October 13 at about 1:00 a.m.

Officers responded to the business on an alarm.  When they arrived they found someone had forced entry into the front of the business and immediately noticed several glass cases in the front of the store were smashed.

The suspects were able to grab a large amount of jewelry before leaving the store. The loss of property is estimated to be significant but is still being inventoried.

Suspect 1 appeared to be a white male, stocky build, wearing a multi color patterned stocking cap with thick black band, charcoal sweatshirt, dark sweatpants, dark tennis shoes with white soles, multi-colored mask and dark gloves

Suspect 2 was a male, unknown race, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt worn with hood up, dark pants, dark tennis shoes, dark mask and dark gloves with white on knuckles and fingers.
