NEW BRUNSWICK, N.J. — An incredible video taken by a driver, who was nearly hit by a semi with a double trailer on an icy highway, has gone viral.

The chilling video, which was captured Sunday, shows the tractor-trailer smashing across a highway median after coming extremely close came to slamming into the driver, who had stopped for another wreck involving two semis. After crossing the median, the double tractor-trailer jackknifed and eventually collided with two other vehicles.

In the video’s description on YouTube, the driver who was nearly hit wrote:

“I was blocked by two trucks on south bound I-95 at exit 9 in NJ (New Brunswick exit). I only wanted to take a picture while I was awaiting for them to clear up… And then I heard a noise from behind…I was barely missed.”

The driver said he turned off his camera and then called 911 to report the accident. He then went to check on everyone at the scene who was involved until a New Jersey State Trooper arrived on the scene and asked him to leave.

Black ice was reportedly the reason for the crashes shown.
