KANSAS CITY, Mo. — On Thursday, police were called to 31st and Prospect in Kansas City, Mo., when a fight broke out on a city bus and one of those involved fired into the bus, police say.

A 16-year-old has been charged in Jackson County Juvenile Court with first-degree assault, second-degree assault, and two counts of armed criminal action.

In the video above, we can see different angles within and outside the bus. (Bus surveillance video is best viewed by expanding your screen to full screen.) The various angles show different perspectives and the commotion underway as the driver continued on the route.

The video begins with a fight that escalates. Then, several riders get off the bus, but the argument between the groups of people continues. You can see someone banging on the window of the bus from outside, and then someone else pull out a gun and fire through the window into the bus.

One person was hit in the hand by the gunshot and two other people were hit by flying glass.
