WICHITA, Kan. — A 15-year-old boy from Wichita was arrested after he sent a tweet threatening to kill 20 students, his mother and himself, The Wichita Eagle reported Tuesday. Police said they didn’t believe it was ever a credible threat.

Police learned about the threat Monday afternoon, according to the paper.

It was an apparent reference to last week’s shooting in Newtown, Conn. where 20 children died.

The boy, whose name has not been released because he is underage, was booked into the Juvenile Intake and Assessment Center on a misdemeanor disorderly conduct charge, the paper said.
