LAFAYETTE COUNTY, Mo. — A Lexington Missouri woman faces charges in Lafayette County after she claims she was raped and set on fire. Police say she made the whole thing up.

Shawna Jobe, 38, has been charged with making a false report and theft. Investigators say she committed insurance fraud when she accepted more than $25,000 for a fire set in her home last April.

Click here to see FOX 4’s interview from August 6 where Jobe talked to reporter Rob Low. Jobe stated she wasn’t responsible for a series of fires set to her house and two cars or that she staged a false attack on herself on Aug. 4.
