KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- A woman is recovering in the hospital after a drive-by shooting early Thursday morning.
Investigators determined that the woman was standing outside near 69th and Myrtle around 12:20 a.m. when the shooting happened.
Police say the shooting appears to be a drive-by shooting and the woman was shot two times.
The woman's injuries are serious but non-life threatening.
Police say they are looking for a green four-door sedan in connection with the shooting. There is no suspect description and no license plate information.
