KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Crews spent about eight hours on Sunday cleaning up after Kansas City’s St. Patrick’s Day party, and got back at it at 5 a.m. Monday morning, picking up discarded cups and other trash and spraying down pavement to get rid of the ‘ick.’

Even though the weather was damp and cold, the parade was a success and the celebration at Westport continued late into the night.
