LAWRENCE, Kan. — Former Bishop Miege standout and 5-star wide receiver prospect Justin McCay is transferring from Oklahoma to Kansas, the school announced on Friday.
McCay, a redshirt freshman, has spent the last two seasons at Oklahoma. He played only 3 games this year due to injury. He will be enrolled at Kansas this spring, but it is still unknown if he will be eligible to play in 2012.
McCay was also considering a transfer to Kansas State. He made a visit to Allen Fieldhouse for the Sunflower Showdown Wednesday night, and chose KU over K-State on Friday.
Kansas head football coach Charlie Weis has been on the job less than a month. In that time, he has landed several high profile blue chip recruits. So far, all of his high impact recruits have been transfers.
