KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Don Bosco Center, which serves senior citizens in the Kansas City community, took another hit overnight Monday when someone stole a second van it uses to help seniors.

Less than two weeks ago, the first delivery van was stolen with 200 meals for the elderly on board.

That van was described as a white, Ford passenger van with a Don Bosco logo and Sunshine Variety sign on the side.

The van taken overnight on Sunday was used to pick up seniors and take them to the center. The van was used to transport seniors to field trips or take them to appointments, said Mo Orpin, Don Bosco’s Executive Director.

The license plate number is MO SA7 P3D. This van does not have any sort of Don Bosco Center logo on it. It has a raised roof and Mo Orpin said it is in bad need of a paint job, especially on the hood.
