KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Chiefs Kingdom will be celebrating with a second Super Bowl parade in four years.
The Championship Parade will begin at noon Wednesday, Feb. 15. The exact route was released Monday:
The celebration will also include a rally at Union Station when the parade ends around 1:45 p.m. Fans are welcome to fill the lawn leading up to the National WWI Museum and Memorial.
“The Kansas City Chiefs continue to be a source of excitement, inspiration and celebration for Chiefs fans in Kansas City and around the nation,” Mayor Quinton Lucas said.
“We will cheer on the World Champion Kansas City Chiefs this Wednesday as our victory parade goes through downtown Kansas City. I look forward to seeing Kansas Citians show our country, and the world, why Kansas City is a sports town like nowhere else.”
How to get to the Super Bowl parade
When it comes to getting downtown, there will be five designated KCATA Park and Ride options where you can shuttle there instead of driving.
The five spots are at Worlds of Fun, Hy-Vee Arena, and Swope Park in the city limits. There will also be a shuttle option at the Oak Park Mall in Johnson County and the 47th and State Metro Center in KCK.
“Be sure to try and carpool or use the KCATA park and ride options,” KC Sports Commission CEO Kathy Nelson said during a Monday press conference at KCI Monday. “Arrive early to find a spot to view the parade or rally.”
Information about the parade will be available online at both fox4kc.com and ChiefsParade.com. The event will be family-friendly event and the public consumption of alcohol beverages or marijuana is prohibited.

How to watch parade from home
FOX4 will be live streaming the parade and rally on air and on fox4kc.com.

How to find missing kids
Parade organizers are urging parents to make a plan and set a meetup location in case they become separated from their children.
Make sure kids have contact information for their parents or guardians with them. Officials even recommend parents take a photo of their children in case they need to identify what they’re wearing and look like.
Anyone who becomes separated from their group should located a police officer. Any missing people or children will be taken to a reunification site:

Schools cancel ahead of parade
School districts throughout the Kansas City-metro are canceling school on Wednesday to allow students, families, and employees to attend the parade and rally.

Limited government services
Many city and county operations will be limited on Wednesday as officials divert staffing and resources to the parade.
Jackson County said its county offices will be open as normal, but departments will have limited staff to provide in-person or phone assistance from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The public is also encouraged to use Jackson County’s online services or get help at a different time or day.
Judicial and administrative offices for the 16th Judicial Circuit Court in Jackson County will be closed at all locations on parade day. Rescheduled court dates can be found online.
Kansas City’s Municipal County will also be closed Wednesday due to road closures, traffic and parking around the courthouse. All court hearings will be rescheduled.
