Mizzou defense showed it’s not quite SEC ready, but the Tigers pulled away for a 41-19 victory over Arkansas State Saturday. The Tigers (4-0) open the conference slate next Saturday at Vanderbilt. The Red Wolves took a 16-14 lead early in the third quarter, but Mizzou outscored the visitors 27-3 the rest of the way. Quarterback James Franklin had another nice game. He led the offense on two long scoring drives in the fourth quarter to put it away.
