Kansas City library branch closed due to COVID-19

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A metro library branch is closed until further notice after an employee tested positive for COVID-19.

The Kansas City Public Library unexpectedly closed its North-East branch Monday afternoon. It is located in the city’s historic Northeast area near Wilson and South Wheeling avenues.

The branch will remain closed until the library can find adequate staffing to cover hours.
