Rainy stretch starts Tuesday
After a warm late October day, big changes are on the way as we stay breezy and clouds begin to increase overnight. A surge of moisture from the southern Plains brings in rain to the Kansas City region starting Tuesday morning, and it lasts for most of the day. Scattered showers continue for Wednesday and Thursday, with most locations seeing about 1-3 inches of rainfall over the next few days. Friday will be windy as temperatures get cooler for the weekend. More rain is likely for Saturday into Sunday along with colder air.
