Another sunny and hot day around town! Highs peaked in the upper 80s today as sunshine was area-wide. Tonight, clouds will move back in as storms in Nebraska slide southeast into the KC Metro. Storms in the morning may be strong/severe, packing some wind and hail concerns. The heaviest rain moves east by the early afternoon, but remaining showers may bother those heading to Kansas Speedway for the big race. Bring rain gear just in case.
